A bit more about me, and why this site exists.

JM

Most of my experience comes from working in industries that are genuinely hard to work in, the kind where the systems are outdated and nothing quite talks to anything else. That's where I ended up becoming a tinkerer. I'm curious by nature and I'd rather take something apart and figure out how it works than leave it alone.

I like using automation to make things more efficient and take the repetitive, time-consuming parts off people's plates. It's less about the tools themselves and more about solving the actual problem, finding where time is being wasted and closing the gap.

Right now I'm focused on growing my expertise around marketing technology and strategy specifically, the systems and thinking that sit behind the campaigns rather than the campaigns themselves.

I also think most teams are being handed AI tools without being equipped to actually use them well. Training hasn't kept pace with access. That gap is a big part of why this site exists, it's where I write about what I'm building and learning as I work through that gap myself.
